“I think he is a really good player”: Rafael Speaks Glowingly About United’s Brazilians
In an interview with MUTV ex-Manchester United full-back Rafael da Silva named Fred as a player he “really likes”.
Fred joined Manchester United in from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2018 for £53m. Under Jose Mourinho, the midfielder struggled to assert himself as an important player. Under Solskjaer his fortunes have changed and he has become a fixture in the Norweigian’s team.

“I really like Fred, I think he is a very good player, a box-to-box player, he runs all the time, has good technique.
“You see his style of play and I like it, he is always running and trying to do good things.”
The 30-year-old also described United’s latest Brazilian acquisition Alex Telles as a “very good crosser of the ball” but admitted that he knows “less about him than Fred”.
