“I think he is a really good player”: Rafael Speaks Glowingly About United’s Brazilians
In an interview with MUTV ex-Manchester United full-back Rafael da Silva named Fred as a player he “really likes”.
Fred joined Manchester United in from Shakhtar Donetsk in the summer of 2018 for ÂŁ53m. Under Jose Mourinho, the midfielder struggled to assert himself as an important player. Under Solskjaer his fortunes have changed and he has become a fixture in the Norweigian’s team.

“I really like Fred, I think he is a very good player, a box-to-box player, he runs all the time, has good technique.

The 30-year-old also described United’s latest Brazilian acquisition Alex Telles as a “very good crosser of the ball” but admitted that he knows “less about him than Fred”.
