Following some scans at Carrington, a source close to the club has told TalkSport that Shaw will be out for a month and will miss a return to his former club Southampton this weekend as well as games against Leicester, West Ham and Arsenal.
Manchester United are now left thread bare in the full back positions, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirmed on Friday that Diogo Dalot will not be be fit for selection until after the international break. Luke Shaw’s Hamstring injury also means he will join a list of Timothy Fosu Mensah and Eric Bailly on the sidelines.
Anthony Martial also picked up a knock and seemed to be hobling during the latter stages of the game but the severity of the Frenchman’s injury is yet to be confirmed.
