According to CaughtOffside, Rodgers is open to becoming United’s new manager amidst a probable Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sacking. The former Liverpool manager prefers to complete the season with the Foxes, but United are pushing for an immediate move.
United’s recent form has been some cause for great concern from fans and the club’s hierarchy alike. The Reds have taken a bitterly underwhelming four points from a possible 18 available including a defeat to local rivals Manchester City.

Optimism for this season was strife as the return of Cristiano Ronaldo supplemented by the class and experience of Raphael Varane and the youthful exuberance and talent of Jadon Sancho was met with great jubilation. However, it has taken three months for it all to unravel at Old Trafford.
