Match Preview: Bournemouth vs Manchester United
After 3 consecutive away wins a Manchester United side with a newly found confidence head down to the South coast to face Bournemouth.
Manchester United have seemed to found their form after 3 consecutive results away from home. 3 wins at Partizan Belgrade, Norwich City, and Chelsea have meant our woeful away form is a thing of the past. Have the performances been amazing? barring the Norwich game, you’d be lying if you said they were extraordinary. However good results breed confidence and Manchester United will be hoping to take that to the Vitality Stadium tomorrow at midday.
How Do Manchester United Look?

Speaking to the press this morning the gaffer confirmed that Maguire, Rashford and Lindelof are doubts for tomorrow’s game :
“It’s still early, hopefully we can get them back on the pitch, they had some treatment yesterday, a little more treatment today, light session but I can’t tell you [if they’ll be available for tomorrow]
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s Press Conference
The way I read into that personally is ‘they’re ok but you never know with these things’. I’d expect them to not only be fit but start tomorrow. But then again I could be wrong.
Ole also clarified a return date for some of the longer-term injuries. Luke Shaw, Axel Tuanzebe and Nemanja Matic are all expected to be ready for contention after the international break later this month.
Opposition: Bournemouth
Embed from Getty ImagesA.F.C Bournemouth are a side definitely capable of causing some upsets amongst the best in the League. Eddie Howe has had them firmly in the league and playing some good football for a number of years now. There is no doubting Howe’s credibility as one of the finest managers in the Premier League.
The Cherries are currently 9th in the Premier League on the same points as ourselves. Bournemouth have conceded 13 and scored 13, again, a goal-scoring record equal to our own. The month of October is surely one to forget for Howe’s side who failed to win a game and score a single goal.
Bournemouth made some great summer acquisitions, one of the more notable ones is none other than Liverpool loanee Harry Wilson. The Welshman’s brilliant set pieces are something to be wary of. However, Sharpshooter Callum Wilson is the key man for the Cherries with 5 goals in 9 premier league games this term. We’ve also been linked to him as a possible signing this Winter, let’s see how he does at the weekend.

- Bournemouth have failed to score in their last 3 Premier League games (D2 L1)
- Marcus Rashford scored both Home and Away against Bournemouth and scored the 90th-minute winner in this exact fixture last season.
- Anthony Martial has contributed to 4 goals in 4 starts this season(G3, A1)
- Manchester United’s 3-1 away win over Norwich saw them end a run of 8 games away from home without a win away from home.
It feels good to be a Manchester United fan at the moment. There are signs of some good football and we are getting results, not more you could ask for. I don’t think there’s ever been a time for us in recent years where a trip to the Vitality Stadium has been easy. However, Manchester United will win this game. A loss is just out of the question for me.
