After the other night of free-flowing football you would have been mistaken to think today was going to be easy. It would be decided by Goalkeeper errors and VAR.

Within 2 minutes after slight pressure from Everton David De Gea had made his entry for “Blooper of the Year” trying to kick it clear he took too long and Calvert-Lewin intercepted with a luck back heel.

The second half started in this Feisty  fixture the same as the first half as ended with tackle flying in and tempers flared, Chris Kavanagh wasn’t having a good game

Sigurdsson was next to hit the bar in the 56 minutes with a well-struck free-kick.

From then on Everton attacked mercilessly 

Eventually getting a breakthrough in the final minutes VAR cruelly disallowed Calvert-Lewin’s goal as Sigurdsson was deemed to be interfering with play

After the final whistle, Everton Manager Carlo Ancelotti was shown a red card by referee Chris Kavanagh who obviously had an issue with Kavanagh didn’t have a good game and seemed out of his depth…

All in all, no points dropped and we march on #olein
