Match Review : Liverpool vs Manchester United

Liverpool vs Manchester United

What can I say, a 93rd minute Salah goal and a Van Djik missile header was all she wrote for United. Liverpool’s win puts them 16 points clear with a game in hand. It looks inevitable the liverpool are going to seal their first title in 30 years.

It took 14 minutes for Van Djik to put Liverpool in the lead with a powerful heaeder when Williams was left to mark him (this should of been a wake up call). United promptly fell apart with only some last ditch defending from Shaw to deny Mane and VAR (thank f*** for VAR) disallowing Firmino’s effort for a foul on De Gea. United were falling apart only Martial and Andreas had fleeting efforts but in all honesty we were lucky to be still in it at all…

The second half started the with the lots of the same. Mo Salah fudged a chance .. and Henderson rattled the post but the just couldn’t kill us off (that was the good point we were unkillable, but just wait) Alisson found Salah in the 93rd minute with a long ball and as hard as Daniel James chased Salah was to strong putting the ball past De Gea.

Man of the Match for United: FRED

Showed what being a United Player means or should mean at least…

Demonised for pretty much everything last season and all the lad needed was a good run of games. Fred is growing into his roll and with a good CAM would be easily one of the best in the league definitely a different class with or without McSauce.

Where do we go from here? the need for transfers in certain parts of the team was evident today, our lack of creativity was as obvious as who is winning the league this season F*** Liverpool. 20 TITLES!
