Player Ratings: Chelsea 0-0 Manchester United

Chelsea 0-0 Manchester United | Premier League | Player Ratings
David de Gea: 7
De Gea was responsible for saving the only real chance of the game. He denied Hakim Ziyech from point-blank which as the result suggests earned United a point.
Defence
Aaron Wan Bissaka: 7
While he didn’t offer up any creativity, he kept the ball in important areas which allowed United to hit Chelsea on the break. None of the counter-attacks bearer any fruit but Wan-Bissaka played a vital role in initiating them.
Victor Lindelof: 6
An up and down game for Lindelof. Early on Giroud got the better of him with some sharp movement that threw the Swede vid his scent. As the game grew, so did Lindelof’s performance, his highlight came with a back post tackle to stop a certain Werner opportunity.
Harry Maguire: 6
Got involved in some forward play early on but as Chelsea dominated large parts of the second half his game was limited to key headed clearances.

There seemed to be a lot of hesitation in Shaw’s performance. The full back had a number of opportunities to play the ball forward but opted for the safe option. He did have some moments but not enough for the standards he’s set.
Midfield
Scott Mctominay: 6
McTominay suffered from a lack of fitness. His first-half performance eclipsed his second in terms of quality. He had the chance to take the game with one accurate pass in the final embers of the game but failed to provide that cutting edge.
Fred: 4
Effort but no efficiency in his performance. A real lack of quality from Fred. Inaccurate passes and poor decision making sums up his performance.

Simply didn’t receive enough of the ball to impact the game. When he did get the ball he did show glimpses with some passes but did misplace a few also.
Attack
Daniel James: 6
James caused Chelsea some real issues with his pressing and was always a threat on the counter but just lacked the intricacy to create more chances.
Mason Greenwood: 5
Struggled for service and therefore failed to get into the game.

Following the collision with the advertising board in the first half, Rashford faded out of the game. The forward didn’t dribble, played safe and jogged for large parts of the second half.
