Player Ratings: Leeds United 0-0 Manchester United

Leeds United 0-0 Manchester United | Premier League

Despite an eventful week in football, the much anticipated War of the Roses failed to follow suit. Both sides displayed a lack of quality meaning the goalless draw is merited.

Dean Henderson: 6

Leeds’ lack of threat to Henderson’s net hints at the kind of game he had. He contributed more to the game offensively with his long passes.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka: 7

The right-back didn’t put a foot wrong all game. He was solid defensively with Jack Harrison unable to affect the game and going forward he was brighter than usual.

Victor Lindelof: 6

The Swede’s long balls in behind the Leeds high line provided some of the only real threats for Manchester United.

Harry Maguire: 6

A similar game to his centre back partner in that defensively he wasn’t really tested or stretched.

Luke Shaw: 7

A continuation of his consistent top form, his combination play with Rashford on that side was positive.

Scott McTominay: 5

A poor game from McTominay in terms of playing forward and driving on the team. In the reverse fixture, he showed a willingness and desire to ensure his side could maintain pressure. He was a lot safer this time around.

Fred: 6

Fred failed to get a strong foothold in the game and the match passed him by in truth. His tackles did allow turnovers in possession but on the ball was poor.

Bruno Fernandes: 5

Frustration summed up Fernandes’ game. Every decision he made seemed to be brewed by the anger of being man-marked all game. He had a couple of opportunities but they weren’t taken.

Marcus Rashford: 6

Looked bright on some occasions but didn’t involve himself too heavily in proceedings. His highlight was the free kick he struck in the first half.

Mason Greenwood: 7

By far United’s most threatening forward. Linked up the play well with his back to goal but the ball just didn’t drop for him to have a good effort on goal.

Daniel James: 4

Displayed a real lack of quality. Disappointing considering his previous showing against Leeds.

Paul Pogba: 6

Edinson Cavani: 6

Donny van de Beek: n/a
