Leicester City 3-1 Manchester United | FA Cup Quarterfinal | Player Ratings
Dean Henderson: 6
Couldn’t really have done any better for the goals that were conceded.
Defence
Aaron Wan-Bissaka: 5
Another evident display of a lack of quality on the ball. Wan-Bissaka found himself in some good areas on the right-hand side offensively but failed to deliver.
Victor Lindelof: 5
Following his midweek heroics, you’d think the iceman would be savvier to not allow Tielemans space the shoot by being dragged by Vardy. But unfortunately, he did and we conceded as a result.

Maguire’s decision to play the ball into Fred clouded what was a decent defensive display. He was beat by Vardy and Iheanacho on some occasions but prevented some other sure goals with some clutch blocks.
Alex Telles: 7
Telles was United’s best performer and was unlucky to get substituted in the second half. Defensively he put himself in some good positions to prevent attempts on goal and going forward his crossing created some of United’s better opportunities, his impetus to go forward played a part in the goal.
Midfield
Nemanja Matic: 3
The midfielder displayed his lack of mobility as he failed to keep up with the precedent of intensity that Leicester’s midfield.

Yet another poor passing display. Contributed to the calamitous start to the game with an awful back pass that Iheancho seizes upon to score the opener. His performance didn’t improve as he continued to make poor decisions on the ball.
Donny van de Beek: 4
Apart from his dummy for Mason Greenwood’s goal, Van de Beek didn’t contribute to anything and was anonymous for most of his time on the pitch.
Attack
Paul Pogba: 6
Pogba was responsible for United’s quality in the game. He kept the ball in the first half and switched the ball in an attempt to maintain possession. His teammates weren’t on his wavelength and he was subbed due to a lack of fitness.

Took his goal well but it was his only opportunity as he was starved of the ball.
Anthony Martial: 5
Drifted in and out of the game but looked bright on the rare occasions he was in possession.
