Player Ratings : Manchester United vs Watford

Manchester United vs Watford| 3-0| Player Ratings
David De Gea: 7
United’s goalkeeper didn’t have much to deal with in the game, however, when needed to he was called into action and kept another clean sheet for the Reds.
Defence
Aaron Wan Bissaka: 7
Aaron looked like more of an attacking outlet for United against Watford, however, he did miss a glorious chance to put United in front in the first half.
Victor Lindelof: 6
Lindelof started sloppily in the first half, looking like he was set to have a nightmare of a game. However, after the interval, he looked a lot more composed and put in a decent performance.
Harry Maguire: 6
like Wan Bissaka, has a glorious chance he should’ve put away and had he have been in an England shirt it probably would’ve nestled in the goal. Almost gifted Deeney a goal in the early stages but had a solid second half which evened out his mistakes
Luke Shaw: 9
Shaw seems to be hitting a bit of form recently for United and this game was no change. He looked confident covering the centre-backs when they were dragged out of position and bossed that left-hand side.

Nemanja Matic: 6
Matic again looked to lack pace in the middle of the park. He and Maguire were nearly at fault for an early blunder but seemed solid alongside Fred.
Fred: 7
The Brazilian looked uncomfortable in the first half as Watford seemed to bully him off the ball at times, but he came into his own as the game progressed. Fred really is starting to become one of the first names on the team sheet for United and this game cemented that.
Bruno Fernandes: 9
Bruno’s name rang around Old Trafford throughout the whole game today, and rightfully so. He looked wasteful in the first few minutes but after winning the penalty and scoring his first goal for the Reds a switch seemed to flick. He was involved in every single goal and this was rewarded with the Man of the Match trophy.

Mason Greenwood: 7
Had he have not scored his 11th goal of the season this score would’ve been significantly lower. The 18-year-old struggled to make an impact but a moment of brilliance secured him his goal.
Daniel James: 6
James was again poor for United as he seemed to get muscled off the ball quite often. But still helped his side score three goals today.
Anthony Martial: 8
The Frenchman scores a fantastic goal for United today with a beautiful bit of skill to help secure the 3 points. He’s now scored 3 in 3 so is helping drag the Reds through a time where a goal scorer is something we are short of.
