Romelu Lukaku Opens Up on His Relationship With Solskjaer
Ex Manchester United Marksman Romelu Lukaku has opened up on his ‘love’ for Manchester United Boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
The Belgian striker spent two seasons at Old Trafford after being signed by Jose Mourinho for £75m in July 2017. Following the Portuguese’s departure in December of the following year, Lukaku spent the second half of his final season with United under the tutelage of Solskjaer.

Now at Inter Milan, Lukaku has continued his superb personal goalscoring record. He most recently scored the third in a derby day 3-0 win over city rivals Milan.
During a QnA on Twitter, the striker was asked by a fan “Thoughts on Ole’s work as a manager? Did you have a good relationship with him before you left?” To which the Belgium all-time topscorer responded:
“He is doing great. You guys have to know I love him as a manager and as a person, I wish him nothing but the best”

This is not the first time Lukaku has heaped praise on the man in charge at Old Trafford. Speaking in August following United’s defeat in the Europa League semifinal:
“I think Ole (Gunnar Solskjaer) did a really good job.” He said.
“The players, they did really well. Greenwood coming through, Martial and Rashford – I expected all of that. I’m really happy for them.
“They look really good for next season, I have no doubt.”
